Full course description
This workshop will provide an overview of systematic instruction and how it is rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis. You will learn about the difference between response and stimulus prompting strategies as well as six response prompting and two stimulus prompting strategies. Additionally, this module will highlight the phases of learning, the best use of reinforcement and error correction in instruction, and task analytic instruction including chaining. Moreover, the use of incidental and observational learning will be highlighted as well as 5 strategies to eliminate prompts. Finally, the use of partial participation for students with the most significant disabilities will be discussed.
