Teacher leadership is an essential component of successful schools. Teacher leaders have the ability to positively impact all school stakeholders in a unique way, as not only do they often work directly with students, but they can use their experience and expertise to inspire their peers by collaboratively working toward school and district goals. Teacher leaders who use their skills to support their peers, leadership teams, and communities are significant assets to their schools and school communities. This microcredential focuses on foundational qualities of teacher leadership.
