This course is appropriate for educators and licensed personnel engage work with others in an instructional coaching role.
Instructional coaches have the potential to inspire and challenge educators to improve their practice. Instructional coaching often results in positive impacts on student learning and teacher satisfaction. Effective instructional coaches create trusting, supportive relationships with teachers; they foster collaboration and provide a safe space for educators to engage in professional development activities and one-on-one learning to continually grow their practice. This microcredential focuses on the roles and responsibilities of an instructional coach and the qualities that effective instructional coaches consistently demonstrate.
