NDE1011: Feedback Pathway 3/6: Student Feedback to Teachers Microcredential

This course is appropriate for classroom teachers.

Effective teachers understand the importance of feedback in improving student outcomes; they also understand that regular feedback on different elements of teaching can help them engage in continuous professional growth. Allowing students to provide feedback to teachers gives students a voice in their education while helping teachers understand how to best assist students. Students can also provide teachers feedback on what they have learned and skills they need additional help to master. This microcredential focuses on educators' competency in creating a classroom climate that encourages students to provide feedback to the teacher about not only what they have learned but also the teacher’s practices that helped or hindered their learning.
